Club Figure 8 celebrates Lil Hot Da Money Man

The LIL HOT DA MONEY MAN mix tape release party started on the 4th of July. It was the biggest bash the city has seen in a long time...but that was just the beginning. All week long the celebration has been going on-and NEW MONEY ENTERTAINMENT (the label where Lil Hot is the CEO) and Lil Hot has been welcomed and saluted in clubs throughout the city of Atlanta and surrounding.  Friday 7/9/10 was no exception. Da Money Man graced the stage of Figure 8, at the LIL HOT MIXTAPE PARTY AT THE FIGURE 8, WITH DJ T-ROC ON THE 1'S AND 2'S.

Lil Hot's entourage entailed 20 people (New Money Entertainment artists and staff, Celeb Status PR (his public relations firm), Eat The Cake Productions (the camera crew that is following Lil Hot for an upcoming show), City Scenes Magazine's editor Attica Lundy, and DJ Laa Choc.

Lil Hot performed "Jumping Out The Gym", "Trap Spot", and the ever-so-controversial "I Fucked Her". He was joined on the stage by J-Hott, Rocharder Ent's newest artist. "We got both 'Hot's' in the building", said Lil Hot.

In typical Lil Hot form, as soon as the performance was over, the entire group left the building headed out of town to South Carolina. Does New Money Entertainment ever sleep? No...not with a true Boss like LIL HOT DA MONEY MAN in charge.  He ain't never lied when he said "I Get Money All Day", lol.  You go, Money Man!

Lebron takes to the Heat

After seven long years of being with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Lebron James has made the announcement that he will be going to the Miami Heat. In an ESPN special titled "The Decision" James claimed he made the final choice this morning after a long conversation with his mother. He also stated that he told the chosen team's administration just minutes before the special aired. The decision came after just seven days of being a free agent. Is 7 his lucky number? We'll see...but hey, South Beach, save me a spot!

Once you go black you'll never go back-Black Hollywood Cartel

It's often said that "Once You Go Black, You'll Never Go Back".  That rings true to form when it comes to the Independent Label, Black Hollywood Cartel. Founded by CEO Charles Web (who is also an artist on the label and goes by the name "Durrty Digga" or "Durrty Byrd"), the label holds some of the hottest talent ALL OVER THE WORLD. The label not only features artists from it's native USA, but also from San Juan, Naija, and Trinadad to name a few. BLACK HOLLYWOOD CARTEL is founded on the belief of "Live Free", and holds none of the traditional confines of typical record labels in terms of networking, unity, and compensation. "The artist is who does most of the work, so why wouldn't the artist get most of the profit?" says an insider exec board member from the label.

Lil Hot Da Money Man brings Hollywood to the hood

It was the event that had the city of Atlanta (as well as everywhere else) talking about. LIL HOT DA MONEY MAN, a rapper hailing from Atlanta GA, brought "Hollywood" to College Park GA!

“Never in my life have I experienced something to this magnitude here,” said College Park resident Coreen Phillips.  She was referring to Lil Hot’s Mix Tape Release Party/Red Carpet Event held on July 4,2010 at non other than Club Throwbacks on Old National Hwy.
“I do this for the streets. I could have had this event anywhere, but I wanted to have it in the hood that shows me love. I wanted to share this with them.”
The announcements came out last week about his Mix Tape release party.  Local celebrity artists, djs, media, and industry types were on the invitation list.  The entire city was invited, and local artists who go hard in the underground street rap circuit were included in the special guest list.  The red carpet event featured interviews from all of the major artists and independent labels as they arrived.  And though it was a red carpet affair, the hood was embraced and included in the festivities.
